    Welcome to SRP!

    Don't get too hung up on brands or age. A brand new razor may or may not be better than a 100 year old razor. Many of us here have vintage blades (some more vintage than others) and find them to be fantastic razors.

    I think I will look into the vintage stuff too. Im seeing Robeson, Genco, W.M.. So even if it has some nicks or whatever, I can restore it by having it sent to a honemeister and its good to go right?
