Well, I am going to regret this.... but I got bored one day (isn't that how it always starts) and shaved my chest.
It was a hell of a lot easier than shaving my face, that's for sure.

I would have thought that shaving one's torso would be rather difficult, but I'm on the thin side and I have lots of...ridges to worry about. I suppose if you can stretch skin onto a flat section, it should be a walk in the park. But, if the skin is rather sensitive (as it tends to be), be sure to go easy at first.

Thanked: 1587I have problems shaving my pecs and abs because of my incredibly ripped physique and dense musculature. Getting in between the six-pack grooves on my abs is particularly difficult.
Just go carefully and I'm sure it will be fine. As others have alluded to, people shave their hoo haa area with straights, so I cannot see why your chest and stomach would present any special concern.

Just be very careful with a light touch. I'm sure being all slashed up can't be good for a dancer. I shave my upper chest with no problems. I do that sometimes so you can't see hair peking out under the collar.

that's funny since i did that exact same thing one day. i don't have really dense chest hair but when it gets long it looks a bit ridiculous so i usually use a beard trimmer that i bought for my side burns. i was sitting on the couch stropping my razor as i knew i was sahving in the morning and i thought " hmm i think i will test out how sharp this thing is on my chest hair". it was sharp, and the bald patch on my pec looked ridiculous, so i shaved the whole thing. it was real easy, maybe cuz my hair isn't really coarse. i even managed my rippling abs
.
BTW my girlfriend really liked it for some reason, that in itself is enough incentive to do it every so often.
