Thread: Looking for a mentor

Hi,

Not sure if this has been ever been used before, but has anyone ever setup a mentor/mentee program ? Say someone (like me) who's getting into this, have someone with lots of experience be assigned to the mentee for all things straight razor related..

I'd prefer via email. Someone who is available to answer questions, give recommendations.. etc.

I know the forums are a great way to get advice, but the more I read, the more I see different opinions and it can be a bit confusing. So having one person, with one philosophy give the same advice, sounds like a great way to go.

It has never been formally setup, but like many other things on SRP it quietly goes on behind the scenes everyday....

I would highly suggest checking out the chat room too, the most underused part of the forum... Many of the Mods and senior members hang out in there and all of us are more than willing to answer your questions....
You may also find someone that you seem to understand better than others and end up with a "mentor" from there....

I'll drop you a PM. I'm more than game. Anytime I can advise someone about shaving without having to read political views is a good day for me.

I can do email or even call on the phone for anyone interested. And I only have one opinion on everything!

J, where do you live? If you can find someone close I would think you would get more, and better, information in person than sending many, many emails.
