Thanked: 398What razors do you own if you don't mind me asking?

Me personally? Just a DOVO Ebenholz and a Wostenholm that isn't quite shave ready. The Ebenholz is a dream to shave with.
My problem is I have a bit of a hunting habit that tends to take ALL of my disposable income.

I have two Dovo's, a 6/8 Bismarck, and 5/8 red solingen, excuse my spelling. I love the Bismarck 6/8

if you really like the micarta go for it - it's a good razor. i ended up parting with mine, but that's because i have many others. i didn't hone mine, just touch ups and i didn't find it hard to maintain at all.
there are better vintage razors, but then they don't have the looks and to most people that's fairly important.

For 150$...
I'd buy an interesting shaped vintage sheffield, like a frameback, humpback or other interesting looking grind (like the lancet razors). Smiling blade, spanish or notch point, a shaped (curved) tang, size 6/8 to 7/8.
It wouldn't even have to be in mint condition, as long as it was still good enough to be fully restored.
but that is just my choice, and is in no way any indication what anyone else should or would do with 150$.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

Thanked: 398I think I've fell in love with the Dovo Micarta..I just can't get over that blade..It's gorgeous
I'm also new at this with absolutely no experience at restoring razors so I don't think I'm quite ready for that step yet.
