    Gotta love it!

If you told the average guy (who hasn't seen the light about straight shaving) that you were thinking about tomorrow's shave and looking forward to it he'd look at you like you had lost your mind. Keep it up! It just gets better.

ANd you'll keep looking forward to he next day's shave!
I've only been at it a few weeks, and only wet shaving (DE) in general for half a year or so, and I still look forward to the next day's shave.

Ain't it the truth! Being so new to this myself, I sometimes can't believe it either. I mean, looking forward to my facial hair growing out so that I can shave? That's crazy talk, or so I've felt most of my life.

I've only had a few shaves in since mine grows pretty slowly (every other day) but its a fantastic feeling. I'm more nervous when I strop, I'm afraid I will roll the edge at some point by accident.

    Default first full face shave

had my fourth shave today i can only straight shave on my off days due to a 12 hour work day and 4 hour drive time but today i actually did my first full face shave today and it went extremely well. only 1 small nick and for some reason i keep cutting my cheek i would think i would cut my jaw line or under my chin but i dont. any ideas??? the razor is getting more comfortable all the time and i am starting to speed up some and i think my stropping is going well i have put a couple nicks in my strop but i smooth them out with an emery board but every time i shave the razor cuts perfectly so i guess i have the angle right beginners luck i guess it seems the soap is drying awful quick but it may just be that i am a slow shaver next payday i think i am going to buy a dbl duck to add to my collection thanks to everyone here at srp for helping me along the way i hhop to be asking quetions in the honing forum soon.

Good for you!!! No doubt increased awareness of your face, shaving skills and confidence have something to do with the results. It is all about letting the razor do its job...

    Al raz.
