Hi, just wondering if someone can help me out. I just bought a brand new dovo straight razor from a knife store, along with a two sided strop. The guy who sold it to me said that it is pre sharpened and ready to go. I just shaved with it and it is definitely NOT sharp enough yet because it was very graby and hard to shave with. It cuts the skin on my caluses very easily, so thats how sharp it is right now. My question is will I be able to get it sharp enough with the strop, or does it have to be honed first?
