    I used to strop 10x linen and 20x leather. One day I forgot to strop. The str8 shaved my beard, but it was grabby and uncomfortable. The next day, I stropped 25x linen and 50x leather. The str8 was better than ever. That made a believer of me, and I've stropped at least 25x linen and 60x leather ever since. If the 25/60 stropping doesn't help, I think it's time for honing.
