What someone can do during a shave, and what someone needs to do to get it smooth, is very different for all of us.
I need to tackle my whiskers exactly ATG, in order to be smooth. Even on my cheeks. Luckily, my skin doesn't object to an ATG-pass at all.

I understand there are guys that can't do ATG without irritation, and there are also guys that seem to need only an WTG-pass to be smooth.
No one can figure out what you need and can do, but yourself.

    Keep up the good work,

    Bart.

Its been said a couple of times, but in my limited experience, everyone's shave is different and it really depends. In my case, the only way I've been able to get BBS on my neck is to go ATG. I've been able to get BBS on my face pretty well going XTG. When I first started ATG my neck really burned, but it was smooth. After a little while the burning stopped and now its comfortable. Anyway have fun with it, and don't be afraid to experiment within your comfort zone.

    Cheers.

It just isn't worth it to me on those two spots, nobody else can tell, except me really trying to find an errant whisker....
So I now coin the term APBBS Almost Perfectly Baby Butt Smooth

Hmm, I always called that a Sic' em shave "Screw It, Close Enough for Me".
