    I have round points in my mind as a bit of a trainer blade, which is no doubt unfair. I think it's just because they always get recommended to guy's as their first blade. Aesthetically, they're definitely my least favourite.

    Really a big fan of the square points for their look and ease in knowing where it'll cut for detail work around hairlines if your keeping some facial hair. And I've only nicked my earlobe once so far.... start getting a little faster stop paying as much attention *poke* tiny tiny pin prick but its the ear.... blood everywhere horrible memories of my mother trying to cut my hair as a child surfacing....

    Oh right I did buy a styptic pencil *dab* problem solved

    congrats on a good shave i bought a spike a while back to learn to hone on and finally shaved with it the other day and i could shave just as well with my round in tight areas so basically its just a matter of what you like better as long as it will shave good i dont care what kind of point it has on it

    I love my spike and have no problem shaving with it! Good to hear you had a good go at it.
