How many shaves in are you now? I did my second yesterday, first since I got my new strop from Tony Miller. Still only brave enough to attempt the cheek area at the mo!!

Hi Rob,
At a guess I'd say 10 or so using the DE as backup. Been about 3 weeks since I got the Dovo. I'd love a miller strop but the exchange rate plus import tax and shipping really kills the deal from over here. I have a dovo strop which seems to be working fine anyway as that edge clips arm hair at a distance and shave nicely which is the acid test.
Keep at it, it gets easier, I started on the cheeks as most people do. You'll get a feel for the blade, what's happening, where it is when you can't quite see the edge and when to press on and when to back off pretty quickly.
