you wont be disappointed as long as you allow yourself a reasonable bit of leeway. Sometimes when somebody doesn't get the best shave of their life after dropping 150 bucks for a razor set up they scrap the whole thing and move on. take it all in, go slow, read up TONS on the wiki and newbies corner posts, paying special attention to Lynn's tips for your first shaving experiences, and have fun with it. It's ok if you don't get a BBS shave the first time, and don't beat yourself up if you get a nick in your face or your strop. You'll catch it bit by bit and you will be so happy that you decided to walk the "straight" an narrow path of shaving. Good luck my friend, all the best.

Keep us posted on the progress. Go slowly, use no pressure, keep blade angle under 30 degrees, and shave for comfort - the BBS shaves will appear on their own.
