This site is a nice find.
I've been reading this forum for at least a few weeks now. I wanted to say thanks for all the great advice I've gotten from here.
My only regret about straight shaving so far is not reading the honing advice sooner. I'll be re-sharpening the TI I bought three months ago later today.......didn't know you had to rest the spine on the stone The Shaptons I bought on advice from here are great.
This is a great site and looks like a great place to be.

Hello!
It is a wealth of informatio.
If yoou want to keep the spine looking good, tape it with electrical tape.
Not sure how much you know, so i thought i'd say it anyway!

I'm almost at that post!
One more try today, then I send it to Lynn. Hopefully I'll win my Ebay bid on the 20 straight razors so I can practice......actually, I know I'll win, my high bid is a fortune.
I'm going to try to reset the bevel and sharpen from there. Lynn makes it look too easy in all of those videos.

Welcome to SRP and good luck with the auction.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
