Thread: My new razor...

The good news first...
Clauss razors are very good shavers....

The bad news second...

If that is really wood then it is a restore, if it is a restore then somebody went way too long on the length of the scales....

If those are the original scales they are most likely Rosewood looking Celluliod...
If these are original then the blade has been shortened sometime in it's life....

Most likely scenario just guessing from the pics,, which is never all that acurate... These are not original scales and were put on the razor which is why they don't fit...

Also I love that question, after the fact, "I paid $$$ for this razor did I get a good deal" ....

ps:
Just looking at the pics I would seriously doubt the razor is shave ready, I am looking for a shine at the edge and I am not seeing it, you will know for sure when you try it out....
