    Default And the package arrived!!!

I´m very happy to tell the srp forum users that the package has arrived yesterday evening.

    Look at it:

Upon opening, the first thing I noticed was a card from Phil (gunner777):

    Another look at the card:

    A look inside it:

And the contents of the package:

Two really gorgeous straight razors, a tub of "Taylor of old bond street" shaving cream, a honing stone, a "russian leather" strop, a piece of strop conditioner (the yellow bar in the photo), a mug, a "col. conk" pure badger brush and men-u shaving kit.

    Another look at everything:

As Phil declared the goods a gift of US$10,00 value and sent it with a card I didn´t have to pay a single cent of import taxes!

The package took 30 days to arrive at my home. The oficials at the customs said it could take up to 90 days to be cleared. They also said if the package had a tracking number it would take 10-15 days to be cleared, as I could check at the Brazilian Postal Service website to see where the package was and pick it up there.

So, lesson learned: tracking numbers have a way of speeding things up at the Brazilian customs.

I´d like to thank all of you who contributed to this great gift! As I said before, I guess christmas came early this year for me!

Looking foward to my first real straight razor shave! I´ll post about it monday!

    Congrats man!!

That is a very nice kit, and I am sure the razors will shave beautifully. Just remember to wipe any oils off of the blades before stopping.

Let us know how your shave goes.

That's great Jose--I was really afraid after our last email they were going to make you wait a very long time. I hope you get years of enjoyment from everything!
