    Talking My first razor sharpening.

Ok, It is an S.R.Droescher Classic (now in the database) and I finished sharpening it last night on a 16K Shapton and then a srtopping of 50 times on horsehide. It looked pretty close to the Morley I've been using under a micrscope. This morning I proceeded to shave with it and it did well, I didn't run into any trouble except for the chin (this blade is a bit larger than the Morley). It took a 3rd trip across that region to get it smooth, all in all it went well. When finished, using aftershave made my face feel "warmer" than normal but it was a very close shave. I do not have a paste strop as yet but that's the next step. What else can I say but now I'm a straight shaver for life.

I know I still need loads of practice and a little more equipment but I know I'll get there.
This is one I'll never forget.
