If so, i wouldnt mess w/ honing too much yet. It is hard to tell when a razor is shave ready when you are still learning.
Thanx, that's probably a good idea. That way I can start shaving right away. You guessed right, I'm new to all aspects of straigth razor shaving.

Bart is the honemeister from Belgium right? How much does he charge? Cuz the shipping back and forth will set me back at least € 15,- even though he's my "neighbour" and if the total exceeds € 50,- I'd rather buy a nice stone and experiment a bit myself.

Thanx for all the compliments! I was supprised at how nice some of them are when I unpacked my postal-presents Though they all have minor wear and some are really rusty. I'll try to restore all of em.
