    Yes, yes they are.

That's a lovely example there, mrbhagwan. What is that, 6/8?

Give that man a cigar! 6/8 it is.

I won this on ebay a while back - it was advertised as a "force mark" and the accompanying picture wasn't that great. The scales looked really crappy when I got it, but when I washed it and cleaned it a little, I could see the jewel encrusted in the crud. Some spirited polishing brought it out.

As nice as the blade is, the difference in the scales was night and day. Lesson learned was to polish those old scales up first before writing them off.

I got two geneva's off ebay this picture is one of them and the scales don't look too good on both so maybe I'll have a go at cleaning the scales.I can't wait to have a go with them now that I've read this thread.I love using a different razor than I did yesterday. The blades are kinda grey so I hope they'll pollish up ok.I thought it was lost in the post but it turned out to be my impatience Nice job, mrbhagwan.

that one looks nice! When I got mine, it did have more tarnish than that. I used ONLY tissue and MAAS.. Here it is, not the best looking but shaves GREAT I can really notice it.
