Thread: Celluloid Rot

Initially the gassing is usually minor but (not always) at some point the gas can and will affect other razors in two ways. It will start other celluloid scales off and corrode other blades nearby so you have to get the offending razor away form other razors asap and get the scales off the blade of the deteriorating scales. Before you see and smell the problem you can have major pitting in your blades and it only takes weeks for it to do major damage.
