help name the blade.
i recently bought a razor from the bay of E and it is a great shave but i cant quite put a name on who made it or for that matter if it is even a known brand. while most of the lettering is warn away i can make out j. rtorrey co. (i think) and under that is the letters HS with what looks like a arrow going threw it.
well i should of posted this in the razors fourms so if a mod wants to move it thanks. but i am still a noobie so it still counts if you dontLast edited by Bunny; 08-30-2009 at 05:37 AM.

Thanked: 17Hi Bunny,
Chances are it is a J.R. Torrey from Worcester, Massachusetts ca 1858 - 1963
The logo is an arrow through the letters U.S.
Great Shavers!! I have several including one from my Grandfather.

Yes, Torrey's a great razor. I love mine. I would suggest cleaning it up a bit. I've heard of the oils in fingerprints leaving more permanent marks.
