Try Vaseline petroleum jelly, a thin smear over the cut should stem the flow enough for you to finish the rest of your face and clean the bathroom, then a gentle wipe with Distilled Witch Hazel, and by the time the tears have dried (it stings) you stand a good chance of having a now dry cut, it works for Boxers, and TBH if you (all of us) have good enough motor neuro' skills to Str8 shave, then our reactions should easy be quick enough to ensure any cuts are very narrow, like the thickness of a razors edge.

Failing that and if you can get hold of it, Adrenaline will stop bleeding real fast, but it tends not to be something that you just have laying around

i usually don't cut myself but my last shave i was using scything motion and ended up slicing a big peace of beef. i think that method works great but you need to be very care full . Not to put pressure or make longer strokes.

    Thumbs down Purple heart guys

Allow me to join the purple heart crew. Yesterday, I was shaving and made three major mistakes that resulted in a quater inch gash in my upper cheek.

Mistake # 1. Was in a hurry to finish
Mistake # 2. Grew over confident Thought I had learned everything, I considered myself a great samurai with a katana.

Mistake # 3. Had a drink before the shower.

There's some crazy English guy on Youtube who drinks while he shaves and all he ended up with was meat-grinder-face. I've gotten good, but being buzzed would just bring me back to square one (you wouldn't really know how much you cut/burned yourself until you were sober...ouch).

I think he's billed as the fastest straight razor shave on Youtube, but he's hanging out for something like 10 minutes...
