Thanks Zib. I apprieciate it. I know what you mean, I love my Bergischer Lowe. I'm thinking of buying a matching blond horn BL to match my black one, Kind of a yin and yang thing. I'm even thinking of buying a Bergischer Lowe starter kit from Lynn and Don's Straight Razor Designs. Take care Zib. STRAIGHT RAZOR 13.

You're doing the right thing by going with Ken's starter set -- I speak from experience. Both the strop and the razor will produce excellent results and, if you should make a mistake with either, you don't have a lot of money invested so you're less apt to get discouraged. Hang in there -- it just takes time, but the rewards are worth the effort.

Thanked: 2thanks sffone, I have used ken's razor twice so far... I am already noticing that if I don't strop correctly the razor won't shave correctly. I am doing the right thing now by just shaving my sideburns and cheeks WTG. it's great because I can shave everyday and the more shave, the more I learn. I can't wait to be infected with HAD, RAD
