Razor seems alittle dull...
i just got my first SR new from amazingshaving.com or some website like that but i'm now thinking that it was not shave ready since it can't cut very well at all. i was wondering if anyone knew of someone in the new haven county of connecticut that does a good job honing and making a razor truely shave ready. when i bought the razor it was sold to me saying it was a soligen razor and i'm now questioning the credibility of the seller since the soligen print wiped off the scales fairly easily however it might just be a cheap razor but still authentic since the blade seems alright. but mostly this thread is me hoping to find someone with experience near me so i don't have to resort to sending it out however lynn might be getting an email for his services...
Thanks in advance!

W hat does it say on the tang of the razor? Was it ordered shave ready? Hows your technique as well as Beard prep, what are you using for lather?

Thanked: 1262Hmm.. I just did a search in the forums on Mehaz.
Some mixed info, but it sounds like it can be made shave ready with some work. But is in no where near shave ready out of the box.
