    Thanks those photos were very helpful. I've got lots of ideas floating around now. It seems that the majority of people store their razors closed, usually vertical rather than horizontal. Only a few seem to store them open, and usually this is more for display purposes in the shadow box style cabinets.

    Well time to do some plan sketching!

    I tend to store any razor not in regular use in a drier environment than the bathroom. Even with an extractor it can be a little damp from time to time. I suppose it all depends on your house design. May be worth bearing in mind.

    Very cool! Now I feel bad. I just use a toothbrush holder.
