OK, so officially have been straight razor shaving for a week now and love it.
First several days, I was using a Feather Disposable safety blade, now I am using my new Dovo Best.
I am having a problem with my neck in the area of my collar line. I seem to nick this area quite frequently and am having an issue getting a good shave in this area. I know it is my technique, but I am wondering if anyone has any tips for that area of the face. I am thinking if I stretch the skin from the back/side part of my neck it will flatten that area out more, which I am thinking is my issue. I don't seem to be able to get a good flat area to shave.
Second question, relating to that, my neck in that area now has some small battle scars and irritation, would it be prudent to not shave that area for a day or two? I could always go back to my Gillette Fusion on that area of my neck for a day or two if needed. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for all your help here, you guys rock!
