Ah, well, in that case some of the UK retailers may also be a good bet, as per prior posts.
If all you want to do is maintain your regular razor, then you could go with a Norton, but when I went hone-hunting, I decided that if I'm unlikely to use the 4000 side at all, and I can get a finer stone, I'd rather do that. All you need is a barber hone, or a finishing stone like a Naniwa 10k or something.
I just got a barber hone, and I've excited to give honing a try for the first time in a little while! Hope I don't mess it up...
But don't worry about that yet - you shouldn't need it for a good several months. Just focus on learning shaving and stropping.

A two sided barber hone, like a Keen Kutter, is very handy for low cost honing. You actually get two hones, a side capable of sharpening and the other for finishing. I recently honed up two new razors, both now give close shaves. Yes, it took a couple hundred passes on the sharpening side, followed by 10-20 on the finishing side. Then CrO paddle, linen and leather. But the final result is just as good as my other razors.

Thanked: 2Hello.
I got in contact with the UK seller (theinvisibleedge) and bought from him a recommended strope and also a thiers issard spartacus razor. Razors are shave ready.
I selected the TI razor for its sobriety and simplicity. This is how I like them. I hope that with the time, I will learn on straight shaving.
Thanks all for comments and support.

Moving From DE Shaving
Hello, Metero57:
I have the Thiers-Issard Spartacus "Dos Festonne" and she is a serious and sweet razor. This is the one with the white bone scales. I don't know which Spartacus you selected. No matter which, prepared by Steve, it will be sweet all around.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 2Obie,
find the selected model below:
spartacus black plastic
It is the most simple of the spartacus blades available in the shop. I like its sobriety! (for my firs model, I think is enough...)
I am totally sure that when It arrives, I will be thinking why the hell did I decided to put such a blade in my face..... This is how I am, I have been always interested in straight razors, and one year ago I decided to move move mact3 to DE. Now it is time to find out if Straight razors are for me !
