I made some business cards on my computer and when I go in I give it to them and then wait a few seconds for them to look at it and then ask " Do you have any old razors or shaving equipment"?

I never had any luck in Antique shops here in Flordia. I pretty much do as ChrisL does, walk in and tell them I collect old Barber items, Stones, Str8's, Boxes, etc....One out of the 4 shops I went to produced a razor that looked like it had been buried and dug up. Nude Scales, One broke in half, and missing a piece, solid rust, Not even worth the 30.00 USD they were asking. I didn't even look at the hone wear...Estate sales are worthwhile.

Thanked: 2I'll bet it's because the English can't have guns. The criminals will be what they are one way or the other.

The reason they don't worry so much here in the states is because a very high percentage of us are gun owners and a good number of them are licensed to carry concealed weapons. We literally use our knives to clean under our nails and open boxes.
I mean why would I cut you when I have about 30+ rounds of S&W .40 cal hollow points?
On the same note I have had NO luck at local antique shops. I've been taking my chances on e-bay. With decent sucess.Last edited by firefighter; 03-20-2010 at 01:22 AM.
