Thanked: 1i think i am an addict
i have been addicted to straight razors for a while now but only been shaving with one from christmas i am learning slowly but surly lol. but i have a new addiction and its SRP i check this forum and the classifieds 10 times a day every day this place has to be the best resource i have ever used on the internet the info here is vast and the responses so fast i think some of you guys must be here more than me haha. so this is just a little thank you to everyone who has taken the time to put the srp site together you have saved me from razor burn ingrowing hairs and pimples which all happened each and every time i shaved with them 15 blade jobies i could only shave once a week now everyday with none of the above problems its an amazing thing.

From one ADDICT to another
I have been using a straight razor for 3 month or so. And love it! your right the wealth of information found on this site is unrivaled! No other place like it, a brotherhood so to speak.
But I can really idenify with the addiction you speak of. I also am on SRP and ebay alot. My wife thinks Im nuts with this. As I was informed by one of the members here on SRP the addiction you speak of is known as R.A.D RAZOR ACCQUISITION DISORDER. And I have it bad! LOL. Have fun

I find it interesting that the more I learn about it all, the more I realize how much more there is to learn. And it doesn't matter how far you go with it, there is still more to experience. One of the things I'm now into and thoroughly enjoying is making scales from various exotic woods. It was a way to combine my enjoyment of woodworking with my enjoyment of straights. Ain't life grand!
