Thanked: 2Definitely a good story, my inspiration came similarly from a hunting buddy who gave me the gears for a solid two weeks on a hunting trip. Then taught me "how it should be done".
Certain things are hard to pick up without having someone pass them down, I am sure he appreciate it.

Thanked: 12Silver- great post-
I am blessed with a great SOL and sounds you will have one too-
We all went to Vegas for New Years, Anniversary & a B-day- wore me out
Took SOL to the Art of Shaving at Mandalay Bay Casino-
He is 6' 4" black headed and looked like Al Queda with his beard
The barber liked to a dropped dead.
I am not sure he even wanted to shave it off- hahaha too bad
The Detroit pants bomber had just done his thing and I didn't want to return home with him looking like a terr.
While we were there and starting to finish up
I heard his barber tell him
" I swear I can see it growing back already"
It was a hoot-
Thought my lady barber was going to cut my throat laughing
