Great buying experience
I just bought my first str8 from Straightrazordesign and have to say that it was a great experience. Ordered on Sunday and arrived Wednesday. Seems sharp and well packaged. Would recommend using them for first razor purchase just for peace of mind. Now I just have to figure out how to use the thing. I guess thats the fun part...

Take a look at the Beginner section of the Wiki. Start off slow. Watch a couple of the shaving videos to see how other people shave and to from there. Go no faster or further than your comfort level and the little extra time you spend learning this art, will have you addicted to the pleasure of straight razor shaving forever.

Congrats, I've made a few purchases there myself. They always do you right. After all, they actully use this stuff....If you need some specific help, just ask....

I had to pleasure of buying my razor and strop from them two months ago and have been shaving since.
I was very pleased with the quick service and product. I also would whole heartily recommend SRD.
On a side note, I bought a tub of their essential oil shaving soap and LOVE it. It lathers excellently on the face and gives a great shave.
