This thread would probably do better in the Hones Section....Just a thought...
We can talk about hones forever....Naniwa, no soak, fast cut, not too expensive.
12k is a great finisher....Great place to start..We have assumed control !

The naniwas are my favorite synthetics but I still like the Nortons and use them too. I've often thought that if I had never bought another hone besides that Norton starter set I would have done just fine. More hones, more fun though so no regrets.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I can't get rid of anything. I'm a pack rat....I still have my Norton 220/1k and 4/8k
We have assumed control !
