If you love her, don't say a word, just go buy that razor!!!
Or just point to her shoe collection!

    I think you're onto something...

Look at any isle associated to lady's products in a store...go to one end of it and look down towards the other end...it's like looking at straight stretch of interstate in some desert...you can't see the end of it...parallel men's product's are usually located on the opposite side of the isle and might be about 8 feet in length, tucked between the wrap-around extensions of lady products from the other side...The men's clothing section in any department store is usually surrounded by a migrational route of women's wear...it's similar to looking at Kanas on a map of the United States, the other 47 states being women's wear...I'm okay with that though...just buy the razor!

Preshave oils and creams, after shave liquids and balms, strops and razors. In the begining you don't seem to have enough of anything. You may want to sharpen your own razor eventually and now you need hones... It just goes on and on... isn't it great!!

SWMBO's can be a tricky thing
What I have found work for me, is to involve her in my new hobby as much as possible.
Showing and telling her all about the gear I'm buying way to much of..

The first time she saw my strops hanging in the bathroom she stormed out of there, asking me what kind of sick new sex toy I had bought now
The next fortnight she told all guests at our house to use the other toilet in the house..

She knows better now, and even thinks it's kinda cool.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Its funny how so many ppl get into it to save money but like others have said the opposite happens. As long as you don't get carried away there is nothing wrong with spending money on something that brings you enjoyment.

Be careful...No str8 razor enthusiast can get by with just two str8 razors. That's why SRP has its "Classifieds" forum.
