    Default Took my first steps

So I took my first steps of my straight razor journey. Did my sideburn area on both sides. Was going to stop with the one but I got carried away and wanted to try it left handed. Went pretty good. Have to say I finished up with one of my DE and had my best shave to date. Felt great after the whole thing. Looking forward to continuing forward. Have to say I felt pretty bad ass afterwards.

Boy, I'd like to take a poll on how many beginners start with that dominant hand sideburn on the first shave, and then it goes so well, they do the whole face.

    I know I did!

Good going for you. You'll do well.

I won't lie. The thought crossed my mind but I restrained myself.

Good job! Take it slow and easy. You are developping a completely new skill and one that can be dangerous to learn if you rush it!
