I've seen tissue recommended for wiping dry as opposed to a cotten towel ... as I understand it, the cotten is more abrasive, and if accidentally run across the cutting edge, it will adversely affect the blade. Also, recommend running the tissue between the scales, and consider blow-drying the blade, and (LIGHTLY) between the scales, and around the pivot pin. Careful not to over-heat the scales ... just get the blade warm enough to evaporate any water/dampness in crucial places. Then oil with Camelia Oil (see SRD for bottles of 4oz or 8oz) or sewing machine oil (less expensive and recommended by those with much more experience than I).
