Default This seems too good to be true, but...

Okay, so this guy's selling lots of cheap shaving stuff on ebay http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...item563d67e207 but there's his feedback page. It's 100%. I've never seen that before. What do you guys think? I can't tell the brands or anything about his products from the pictures, but people who've bought them left positive feedback.

"User ID Invalid" is not a good sign. I've seen sellers with items that are usually too good to be true, who have apparently had their cohorts stuff their feedback folders with positives to get 100% Then when the negatives start coming in, they close up shop and create a new identity. I'm not saying this guy did this but I'd be careful.

Well, he's got feedback dating back two years, so I don't think so. he's got the top rated badge and everything.

    my 2 cents,
most often than not cheap does not go hand in hand with quality experience when straight shaving.
exception stuff bought through classifieds, and several very reliable vendors.
No strop made of quality materials will be worth 6 bucks.
If you want to save money try your hand at a vintage strop, but you will need to refresh the leather to be able to use it.

True, true. At the same time I don't want a super nice strop because I'm still a beginner and I'll probably tear it up in a couple weeks (like the one I currently have from srp which is nicked to shit and i already probably need to replace).
