    Feebo,

I use Ballistol (for longer term storage) and Sentry Solutions TufGlide (for day to day protection). TufGlide is a dry film preservative.

    Both work superbly

I have also used plain baby oil in the past with success. This has the virtues of being odourless, less expensive and readily available

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ

This WD40 talk reminds me of a funny story.

When I was at school we all had school numbers that were based on the house you were in, plus a number. I was in Mongomery house, and my number was M82.

West house was a boarding house, and your number would be W plus a number, but if you were a day pupil in that house it would be WD plus a number.

One year there was a guy who joined West house who's school number was WD40... There are a lot of jokes you can make about that when you're 14 lol..!
