definitely try to get that rust off..as I HAD no choice but to have Max do a total restore n rescale as well..not cheap!!

Brasso is not recommended to use on razors. you can try to remove it using some toothpaste (not the gel stuff) as that is slighty abrasive and then clean, dry and oil the blade. Otherwise a metal polish like MAAS or the Semichrome is most likely your best bet.
