Thread: Result !!

I had a fantastic shave today!! Very close to the sought after barbers shave for sure!! All was going well with the technique, I found a much better way of doing various bits of my face that I`ll remeber to do again next time. My neck is still a little difficult, I need to work on that but crikey! There was barley the tiniest bit of stubble to be found anywhere! I`ve been faceturbating all day because it feels soooo smooth! lol It`s so nice to still have the odd "first" as you get older isn`t it? I`m chuffed to tiny kibbles and bits! Now I have a standard to try and keep up/better I tell you what though, against the grain on the front of the chin? Forget abooout it! That doesn`t feel right at all, or safe. I`ve started going with the grain and then across the grain on the second pass. Does the trick a treat I had a big smooth smile on my face for the whole day today

Cheers guys ! I think three things have made a big difference for me. My razor wasn`t as sharp as it could have been, I went right back to Cromium oxide with it. A better understanding of which way my hair grows, that`s got more room to improve aswell as I find my straight shaving feet and the cutting angle. I was definitly shaving at too low an angle so I familiarised myself with what thirty degrees looks like in the mirror. There`s a certain feeling and sound to it isn`t there! It was soo satisfying to see it working so well and to feel my face after what was litterally the best shave of my life
