Any advice for a humble traveller?
Hi guys,
I've just started along my straight razor journey and I just had some questions regarding shaving supplies. I have been shaving with DE razors for about 2 years now so I've had most of the AD's already. As luck would have it however, I'll travelling to Europe and Japan with my family which means I can bypass those shipping costs.
I'll be staying in France, Prague and Tokyo and Osaka and I'd love to use this opportunity to pick up some shaving supplies (soaps, creams, straight razors, strops) in my spare time. Would you guys be kind enough to direct me to some stores which stock these items?
Thanks in advance

Thanked: 1195That sounds like quite the trip! I'm envious, summer here in Edmonton has been very wet so far and not very nice.
I don't know any individual shops, but if in France I'd want to visit Thiers Issard. However, I don't know if they have a traditional store front, but it would be worth it to check it out.
In Japan I'd try to source out Kanayama strops, Japanese style razors and natural hones. Contact JimR, he's in Japan and could lead you to the right places.
