Intro
Hi SRP Josh from Vancouver Canada, Just embarking on this journey back to how things used to be done and couldnt be more stoked!!!! Will definatley be asking for tips and Tricks along the way!

Start with a quality razor honed by a pro.Get a decent strop,and you're on your way.It takes a while to get good at it so please have patience and don't try to do too much too soon.Good Luck!

Check the SRP wiki. It contains lots of useful information about straight razor shaving such as pre-shave preparation, stropping, shaving--and especially brands of razors to buy and those to avoid.
Of course if you have questions that can't be answered by the wiki, there are always SRP members who will be more than willing to assist you. Just place your question in the approriate forum and a member will reply.
