scars
Dear friends,
After shaving for 8 weeks I am left with 3 scars (4the on the way I am afraid), the cuts have healed up but they left a mark.
Now I have read up on this subject on SRP and some say the scars will disappear after weeks/months, how sure are we of this?
All the cuts where nice and straight but due to daily shaving they have sometimes been open up again by the razor (sometimes more than once).
Can I be confident the scars will disappear over time????

i think you should wait for things to heal up completely before continuing shaving.. and lighten up or something.. nicks should be a rare thing.. and cuts just shouldn't be happening at all.. the goal is to cut the hair.. not the face.

scars
On my face, I pretty much gave up trying to tell one scar from another years ago. But--- I'm pretty sure that none of my scars are from shaving. It just doesn't sound right to me.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

Just got Jocob Hooy Vitamine E creme. I am planning on using it about 30 minutes after my evening shave and in the morning before I go to work. Hope it helps.... I got such a pretty face XD

Unless they are very minor, scars never go away. Or at least that's what I've found. I have scars from when I was a kid and they never went away and now I'm.....Methuselah.

I don't know if they will go away or not. Work on your technique and perhaps there won't be anymore. What the old barber told me in my sig line below has helped me to avoid nicks and cuts. Give it a try.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

The first few days, I'd apply Bacatracin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment 2-3x a day, something like that. Then, use the moisturizers, Vit E and the like. Minor scars will sometimes disappear over time, Sometimes not...Also, until they heal, I wouldn't shave with a Str8, maybe a DE, or the dreaded multi blade thingy....

+1 on jimmy's sig.. i've started doing the same thing and it has worked wonders.. i like to pretend i'm holding a small bird.. tight enough so it won't fly away.. but loose enough not to kill the poor thing.
