Thanked: 10Special Thanks to SRP
Guys,
I just wanted to give a special thanks to the staff and members here. I don't post much , but in my few posts I have been greatly helped. I started a post in the strops section because after destroying my 3" dovo I am ready to move up. Even the founder himself made a recommendation about a strop and it wasn't even one he sells. That says a whole lot to me about the character of the people here. Just outstanding!
Thanks for letting me be a part!
Jaque!

In the brief period of time I have been a member here, I have found this to be the most helpful, friendly and inviting online community there is. On most forums, if you ask a question you get the standard reply: "...did you try the search function."
Here at SRP, it does not matter if a question has been asked 100 times or a topic has been covered previously. The members are always there to step up and help you out.
I agree with everything you said. It has been a pleasure and a privilege being a member of SRP and it has made my obsession that much more enjoyable.

I have joined other forums and quickly stopped posting or even reding them. This is the only one that I've seen that I would really call a community. Maybe I didn't give the others a chance. From my very first post, I could see that SRP would be helpful. I try to post helpful advice myself when I have something to offer but with only a few years of experience, I usually defer to the long-term members who often, have already said what I would have said anyway. Great thread, Jaque.

I Agree
After about a month of reading various articles and forums I signed up here. The information here is better than all others I have found (friendlier as well).
As a result my face is happier and smoother. I take more time in the morning to relax prior to going out the door. I have the shower and shave down to about 35 minutes as compared to over 45 for the first time.
Today, after shaving with a straight for a bit over a week I took the ecectric razor and charger to the Good Will store.
I guess Lynn will just have to prep a backup for me now so that I have two Straight Razors.
THANKS to all the help everyone.

Thanked: 29MY thanks as well!!
Gentlemen,
Although i've joined this forum very recently, i have found this to be a TREASURE CHEST, filled with knowledge concerning what this forum is all about.
Slowly (but surely) learning everything there is to know, starting to collect all shaving needs at the same time......
A sincere Thank You to all of the forum members that helped me so far.
Kind regards,
RazorBack

No ... Thank YOU, Jaque !!!
I think you started a very interesting thread ... so thank you for getting involved ... it can be habit-forming. I think you hit the nail on the head as to the character of the folks on this site ... Lynn, Neil Miller, Tony Miller, JimmyHAD, etc., etc, etc.
