Two months between honings, pasted strops in between, maybe a touchup with 8k norton if the razor begins to pull.

I've never really counted, but I think a well honed and well treated razor should give over twenty good shaves. Most of those should be excellent and you might even be able to stretch that further depending on how tolerant you are of a dulling razor.

After about 15 shaves, my Taylors (carbon) still shaves well, but leaves my skin irritated. It could also be b/c I have sensitive skin. If I didn't, I'd probably be able to get away with 20 or so.

The only reason I can think of as to why some members get less shaves per hone is maybe their razors aren't as sharp as they think they are!

How about heavy growth and/or sensitive skin? C-steel needs more maintenance than stainless. Some people prefer to maintain their edges in a sharper condition than others. As you can see, there are reasons-a-plenty and no perfect answer.

Most of my razors last about 15. I usually don't let them go that long and use a barber hone after every 10 shaves (4 passes with lather). I go back and actually hone them about every 6 months.
