Interesting situation recently, I had to use my old schick quatro due to a major time crunch for work (subsequently won my first DE auction on ebay that day to avoid dealing with this piece of junk again haha). I used my CF lime and it honestly felt like the 4500 blades in the catridge weren't even touching my face, one of the best shaves with a cartridge ever.

Unfortunately I still broke out following that shave , but it was indeed smoother than any aerosol-can junk in my experience.
