Not quite sure what you mean here. The title mentions eBay, but in the message you talk about the classifieds. If you see one in the classifieds that says it's shave ready you can be assured it is. If you see one on eBay that states that I'd be a bit leary. If it is on eBay, do you know the seller, or have you asked the seller if it is truly shave ready?

11-08-2010, 11:06 PM #13I recently bought a shave ready Hibbard Spencer Bartlett from a vendor on Ebay called demonbarber2010. He seems relatively new to Ebay, but he delivered a great product quickly for a great price (£40 = c.$60 US) and so may be worth a look...
However I've been caught out on Ebay before so you need to make sure you ask the right questions before you bid, and if you're not sure what to ask I'd stay away for the time being.
Maybe have a look at theinvisibleedge.co.uk. They have some reasonably priced vintage razors and will ship internationally. They also have a very good reputation.
But as has been said above, the classifieds here are a great place to start.
I'm glad you like it Spock.

Many thanks guys, I recently received a present from an old barber (Solingen - Carl Rader in excellent condition) and she's shave ready. I already shaved myself - without any casualties).
She's a singer!!! Outstanding shave overall. Maybe I will put some pictures of that baby. Oh, by the way, she have 5/8.
