I have a dozen that look just like that except mine have a Spanish point and crappier scales. What is your basis for questioning its authenticity?

Just wanted to make sure. I have been shaving with the same two straight razors for a year now, one Dovo, one Hart Steel. The web site that i purchased the razor from didn't seem as high end as the web sites i got the other two razors from. just wanted to make sure. Thanks so much for the input.

    Default great fake?

The usual wise-guy reply in this situation is "oh sure, that's a fake, send it to me for immediate disposal". Not that I would ever use that tired line, but I wanted to be first.

I don't think they make fakes that nice.

By the way, I don't know your basis for deeming a business to be "high end," but I can assure you that the proprietor of that ShavingShop maintains high end customer service. I have bought only one razor from him but he went out of his way to help me. I highly recommend him and his website.

    Default +1 on Shaving Shop

I have no interest other than being a happy camper. Not everything was always perfect, but I'm very pleased w/ John's service, and would not think twice about buying from him again. I hope I can soon
