If you like the look of the dovo... I'd go that way, pick up a cheap brush (like a tweezerman or an omega boar for example) and grab a puck of any good soap. You'll get more enjoyment out of a razor you really like, and you can always upgrade your brush later if you find you need to. Brushes for me are a pure luxury item.. my boar brushes get the job done fine, but the badger is nicer.

That said, I don't think there is a weak link in the boker deal either... can't really go wrong with either one.
