You should check out the classifieds here for a razor or straightrazorsdesigns.com or any of the other advertisers here on the forum. The important thing to remember is to get a "shave ready" razor. As for for finding a store locally that sells razors, if they're still in business, you could try "The Knife Shop" but the razor would probably only be factory sharp, so it would most likely need to be honed, which many members here offer to do for a small fee. You could also try looking in high end tobacco shops as well. Hope this helps
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Thanked: 0No he does not currently use a straight razor... I don't think he's ever regularly used one.
I'll have to check out tobacco shops, thanks!

Thanked: 14yup. dovo's are nice, i doubt you'll fine many opinions to the contrary. was my first... of many.
good luck. nice on ya
oh p.s. if your not aware, getting a nice edge on the razors is not a given. especially when you buy them new. so its good to buy it online, cause a lot of places will hone it for you. which unless your pa knows how to do that, is a good idea
