I'm in process of building a Dickerson 8013. Should be fun to fish if I can ever get some time to work on it.

hmmm....I think the OP struck a chord with most everyone on this forum.
At a ripe old 25 years old I can say I love "antique" shaving, wooden bows without wheels, flyfishing (although I've never gotten my hands on a 'boo rod), old music, old books, a good mule, "seasoned" cars that would make the EPA gag, trying to build a lapstrake canoe out of mahogany, and heating with wood.
Seems like everything took a wrong turn sometime in the last century...doesn't it?

Thanked: 70Welcome.
I'm retro, just not that retro.
Don't drink, can't stand fishing and don't like music.
My car is a 1993 that was paid for years ago. Took out the radio and the AC long ago to save weight.
Dang shame I'm only 39. I shudder to think how I'll be at 80.

Thanked: 70I shave with a straight razor. It's about 200 years old.
My DE, originally my great granddads, is 95.
My daily carry is 93 years old.
My shotgun about the same.
My watch is 42 years of age.
My main lighter 70.
The research to find the perfect bit of kit is what interests me.
Music just doesn't trip my trigger, even old music.
