Thread: kinda spooked

ok I tried to use the 4k 8k a few min ago along with the youtube vid..... noooo good at all guess I'll send it in for a hone and get a practice razor... still have the shavette that does infact give a smokin awesome shave!... but I am now obsessed with learning to hone/touch up my self

Try a really light or minimal pressure pyramid of 1-3 and 1-5 on the Norton 4K/8K Combo then strop and test. If there great. If not, try 5 more very light strokes on the 8K side and then strop and test again.

Ok I give that a try Lynn.. part of the prob was I didnt have much of a slurry at all.. prob should get a prep stone... Thank You Lynn!

I've tried the advice givin and I was totally unsuccessful at my first hone attempt.......... I will not give up, this is not N.A.S.A.! I will prevail!!!
