I actually used to work at The Body Shop (manly, right?)..

The new cream, Maca Root, is slightly different than the old one, the only real difference is the color and the scent.

They added maca root from Peru to it, which is the core of the updated men's line, which is supposed to "condition a man's tougher skin", as well as act as an aphrodesiac lol.

I'm just getting into SE wetshaving myself, but I've been using most of the men's line (old version and new maca root) for a couple years now, and I personally can't use anything else.

A lot of customers loved it too.

I managed to buy a case of the old shaving cream (like 10 tubs) when the new one came out, (it cost me almost nothing as an employee) and it lasts forever, so I'm still trying to kill it.

how true it is.. basically.. you buy a puck of mitchell's wool fat and you're set for the next few years...

Maca root is also my favourite cream. Beats TOBS and T&H IME.

Sounds like a new acquisition disorder, SCAD.

You might be able to sell some on the Classifieds.

I haven't tried the Maca Root, only the original formula. It was actually my first shave cream and brush that my wife bought me as a surprise. Great stuff and I still use it as a go to especially if I'm in a hurry and using my DE. It lathers up great and fast and does everything its supposed to do..nice simple scent to it too
